Why Is Nutrition Important
for Colon Health?

I remember when I first realized the role of nutrition and how important it is for not just your colon health, but your overall health as well.

So why is nutrition important? It is important because it provides the building blocks for your body.

If you build a house with bad materials it will fall apart, but if you use solid and high-quality material it will stand much, much longer!

I am not going to into the finer details of protein, carbohydrates, fat, vitamins and minerals in this article.

Instead, I will just tell you why nutrition is important, what foods you should eat and what you should avoid.

I like keeping it simple :).

If you eat foods that aren't beneficial for your body such as:

  • Processed dairy
  • Cooked meats
  • Sugary foods
  • Junk food
  • Additives, Sweeteners and Preservatives

Your body will suffer tremendously, because all your energy will go to trying to get rid of the waste. Remember those bouts of tiredness after you've eaten your pizza, hamburger or another large unhealthy meal? That's because your body puts all its energy into digestion.

When you eat healthy foods you'll notice it in your body. Instead of robbing you of energy you'll gain energy.

Instead of robbing you of nutrients, you'll gain nutrients and your body will have the building blocks to rebuild your cells and keep them healthy.

The foods that have this effect are natural foods such as:

  • Grass-fed beef
  • Organic chicken
  • Wild fish and game
  • Organic organ meats
  • Fruits
  • Vegetables
  • Nuts
  • Seeds

The reason I chose these foods is because we all know them and are used to eating them, but we are not eating enough of them.

If you eat too many nuts and seeds you'll notice the same effect that junk food has on you, so take it easy on those.

You can go wild on any of these foods. They will not cause harm to your body, even though some experts claim it to be so.

There's also another problem in our world today, and that is the depletion of our soil, which means that our foods have less nutritional value than a decade ago.

This is why I choose to supplement with a high-quality multivitamin. Experts are even saying today that thousands of deaths could be prevented if everyone took a multivitamin.

The reason is because most people are nutritionally deficient in at least one nutrient, and depending on which nutrient that is, it can be lethal.
